Gas As Interface presents RIMO×NAOKI “SAND” YAMAMOTO “Relaxation” – An exhibition held at CALM&PUNK GALLERY
from the 21st to the 30th of August.
This exhibition is created by graphic designer RIMO who has created
works for various music and fashion projects, in collaboration with Naoki “SAND” Yamamoto who runs his own label called ‘SAYHELLO’.
Both graphic designers are based in Tokyo.
Although most popular graphic designers usually create their design using vectors on Macbooks, for this exhibition the artists used other creative ways of painting, using everything from spray cans to paper cutters and glue. The results will be displayed and available for viewing at CALM&PUNK GALLERY for a limited time of 10 days only.
During the event you will be able to buy T-shirts with unique designs created by the artists, as well as a limited edition booklet describing the creative process behind the artwork.
For this exhibition the artists has tried to experiment with new forms of creation, using very different methods from what they normally use. Why not come and feel the creative atmosphere for yourself?

Born in Tokyo in 1977. Started the graphic design team “mocrock” as a university student while working freelance. Currently he is doing creative works in various fields such as music, film and fashion, both internationally and in Japan.
